Congratulations to our Network Cable Installer (NCI®) Apprentices who recently graduated and moved into full time positions at Onnec.
We are thrilled to announce that our talented group of UK-based apprentices have successfully passed their Network Cable Installer (NCI) Apprenticeship with Onnec and CNet Training, gaining their Level 3 – Network Cable Installer qualification. This marks an incredible milestone not only in their careers but also in our company’s journey as we continue to nurture and develop the next generation of industry experts.
Over the 16-month programme, these individuals demonstrated dedication, resilience, and a passion for learning. From hands-on experience installing, testing and certifying copper and fibre cable installations, to mastering the complexities of project management, they have grown both professionally and personally, proving that they are ready to take on the challenges of their new roles.
To recognise this achievement, we hosted a special celebration in the London Head Office, where our graduates, George, Asean and Ed, were awarded their certificates and could reflect on their achievements. This event was attended by senior leaders, including our CEO, who expressed their pride in the apprentices’ accomplishments. George, Asean and Ed will now go on to the next stage of their careers at Onnec, putting the knowledge, skills, and experience they’ve developed into practice in their new roles.

A Journey of Growth and Learning
Onnec’s apprenticeship programme with CNet was designed to provide our apprentices with real-world experience and mentorship from some of the best in the industry. Over the course of the programme, our apprentices worked alongside experienced site managers, learning the ins and outs of project management, team coordination, and client communication. They faced challenges head-on, developed problem-solving skills, and played a vital role in the success of several key projects.
The apprentices from Onnec were the first to successfully complete the level 3 Network Cable Installer apprenticeship through CNet Training. They were exemplary in their behaviour and work ethic and were excellent representatives of Onnec. Apprentices are often new to the workplace, and they are shaped by their environment. And this is where Onnec excelled; they provided an outstanding environment for their apprentices.
