Onnec Shortlisted for Women in Construction Awards 2025
We’re proud to share that Onnec has been shortlisted for two prestigious honours at this year’s Women in Construction Awards – Best Health & Safety Leadership and Diversity, Equality & Inclusion Strategy.
The Women in Construction Awards celebrate the most innovative individuals and companies driving excellence in Ireland’s construction sector.
These nominations are a reflection of our ongoing commitment to creating a workplace where people feel safe, supported, and empowered to thrive. Whether it’s through industry-leading health and safety practices or driving equity and representation across the business, our teams in Ireland continue to set a high standard.
Onnec’s EHS Manager, Lorraine Watt, has been shortlisted for the Best Health & Safety Leadership Award. Lorraine consistently demonstrates an unwavering commitment to ensuring a safe working environment for all. Through her proactive approach, attention to detail, and ability to lead with empathy and authority, Lorraine has played a pivotal role in embedding a strong safety culture across our projects and teams in Ireland.
Additionally, Onnec’s EDI team has been shortlisted for the Diversity, Equality & Inclusion Strategy Award. Through educational workshops, employee-led initiatives, and an inclusive approach to recruitment and development, the team has helped shape a more equitable workplace—where all voices are heard and valued. This recognition is a celebration of their passion, persistence, and the real, tangible progress they’ve made in building a culture of inclusion.
Congratulations to everyone involved. Being shortlisted for these awards is a significant achievement—and one that reflects the values we hold as a business. We look forward to celebrating at the Women in Construction Awards and continuing to champion positive change across the industry.
