Meet the newest member of our Heath & Safety Team – Oran O’Kane, Environmental Health and Safety Manager

Health & Safety is an vital part of everything we do. Ensuring the health and safety of our people – and of our customers’ employees – is central to our core values. That is why we are excited to announce the recent appointment of Oran O’Kane as our new Environmental Health & Safety Manager.

Oran holds an honours degree in Environmental Health and Safety from Cardiff University, an IOSH-accredited program, a qualification level above the NEBOSH certificate and diploma. With 8 years of extensive experience in EHS roles, including significant work in the construction industry, Oran brings a wealth of expertise to Onnec.

In his new role, Oran will lead and provide guidance on all Environmental and Health and Safety matters for Onnec UK. Additionally, he will collaborate with the wider Onnec safety team in Ireland and the Nordics to ensure a unified, best-in-class approach to health and safety, ensuring a safe working environment for all our employees, partners, and clients globally.

We welcome Oran to the team as we continually apply best practices to promote a safer working environment and a positive safety culture at all levels of the Group.
